I was in a bike/car accident and my doctor recommended I see Dana for her IMS treatments. Originally, I thought the cost was excessive for physiotherapy, but I figured I’d give it a try as the chiropractic treatment I was receiving wasn’t relieving much pain. After the first visit to Dana, she helped to release various muscles and the tension in my neck, back, hips and legs was gone. I’ve been seeing Dana only about twice a month, but her treatment methods have helped me get back on my bike, get back to training and be able to put in a full 8 hour work day without pain or stressed muscles. As a high-level athlete, I’ve been to many physiotherapy clinics, but hands down Dana has been the best physiotherapist I’ve worked with in the last 10 years.
Dana empowers her team and patients at Body Works to help them to achieve their very best.
At Body Works we are committed to helping you achieve your best. We develop and implement a customized treatment plan and rehabilitation of injuries to help you get moving again and enjoying a healthy active lifestyle.

The neighbourhood of Central Lonsdale is nestled between Upper and Lower Lonsdale - it is located in the City of North Vancouver, Central Lonsdale is bordered by the Upper Levels Highway on the north and runs south to Keith Road. The area was formed as the city expanded from the waterfront up Lonsdale Avenue right to the edge of the mountains. Originally the territory was inhabited by the Coast Salish people and the Mission reserve of the Squamish Nation was just two blocks west of the foot of Lonsdale Avenue just below the boundary at Keith Road. A ferry wharf and later a streetcar system were in place by 1906. The streetcars were replaced with buses in the late 1940’s.
Edward Mahon is remembered as a visionary and philanthropist. His lasting legacy is the Green Necklace; the circle of preserved green spaces, boulevards and parks that surround the city core of North Vancouver. Mahon Avenue is named after him, as is Mahon Park, land he had donated for that purpose. The City’s current Official Community Plan still draws upon Mahon’s original concept, using it to recreate and connect the City with the Green Necklace Greenway. Mahon Park was sold to the City of North Vancouver in 1910 by the North Vancouver Land & Improvement Company. Mahon Park was considered the jewel of the City for many decades and is still valued today. There is an exhibit on his life and legacy on permanent display by the City of North Vancouver.
