Do you get tired eyes at the end of a work day? Neck pain? Check out our video on how to sit at the computer to help tired eyes feel better. Posture is important.
Hi this is Dana at Body Works Sports Physiotherapy in North Vancouver. We’d like to show you another posture break tip. This one is to help tired eyes feel better. Sometimes it’s a long day, and your eyes get really tired when you’re looking at the screen.
One of the big things we do to help tired eyes is look away into the distance. Take a break every half hour or 60 minutes and then come back to looking at the screen.
Screen Height
- Check the orientation of the height of your screen
- When you look straight ahead, you should look just above centre of the screen
- If the chair is too high or the monitor is too high, then you won’t be able to look properly at the screen. It can affect your vision and your eyes.
- Also remember to keep your neck long as you’re sitting, that will help you to focus on looking straight ahead.
