Sports Physiotherapy

The Physiotherapists at Body Works Sports Physiotherapy have years of experience working with sporting injuries of all kinds. We enjoy working with athletes of all levels, ranging from the weekend warrior to the higher level athlete. We have experience with Olympic and National level athletes and have worked with numerous teams and events, including the 2010 Olympics.

Sports Physiotherapy

We provide detailed sport specific assessments and treatments to address any sporting complaint. With movement information tailored to your sport and how you body moves, we can teach you movement retraining exercises to help you move better. You will improve your sports performance and overall enjoyment of your sport, without associated pain or tightness. We are happy to work with your coach or trainers on sport specific rehabilitation that will assist your return to sport. Our experience suggests that this collaborative approach works the best.

Our passion is to determine what is causing your problem, treat it as quickly and efficiently as possible, and get you back to the sport that you love as fast as is possible.

Our physiotherapists have extensive sporting experience at a local and international level. Our sports physiotherapy coverage has included local and international events, such as:

  • Canada Cup Women’s fastball tournament,
  • World Figure Skating and local figure skating,
  • Women’s National Soccer team and development teams,
  • Men’s hockey and volleyball,
  • Girls soccer teams North Shore,
  • Vancouver 2010 Olympics.
