Sarah Jane grew up in Halifax Nova Scotia, and completed her Bachelors in Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University. She then went on to further her studies and completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland.
Sarah Jane grew up with a passion for sports and spent the majority of her youth training as a competitive gymnast, and participating in track and field. Her love for physical activity continues to this day as she enjoys spending her down time going for runs along the waterfront or hiking various different landscapes.
As a Physiotherapist Sarah Jane is passionate about providing individualised care for her patients to help maximise their quality of life and return to daily activities. She emphasises a treatment approach that includes a thorough assessment, whilst educating her patients to have a better understanding of their bodies and functional movements. She strongly believes in taking her time to actively listen to her client’s needs and empower them to be proactive with their management. Her previous experience embodies a variety of conditions resulting from orthopaedic injuries, cardio-respiratory care and working within the community. Her current practice encompasses manual therapy with soft tissue techniques, exercise prescription, and patient education to ensure you reach your individualised goals.
